4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had horrible teachers until my 8th grade year, the dresscode is really dumb, sometimes I find veins in the school food, and sometimes it isn't even cooked. Most of the time there is too much work and the grading process is so slow.Student Review2y ago - Walker Park Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is on the come-up! My children have attended a school in another nearby county that had an excellent reputation, however neither of my kids enjoyed their time there, in spite of being very involved in sports and extra curricular activities. This is our first year at MAHS and I could not be more impressed with the teachers, administrators, coaches, and students. It is truly a welcoming atmosphere. "It is not a major thing for us to see dogs around, but those who do have dogs do seem to fully enjoy their ability to have the dog out without neighbors being fearful. They do clean up after their dogs and take care to keep them caged whenever it is necessary."

"we have family movie nights for free, we have a hammock park where many can swing at once. We're blessed with most church denominations you can think of, a really hilly dog park so both you & your dog can exercise. it's a little too far from most of our family & friends but other than that, it's awesome!!♥️♥️😁"

"Super people live in our neighborhood! Everyone keeps their yards pretty! ! Everyone is friendly and speaks when you see them. We are so close to town, restaurants, shopping and medical facilities. Even though we are within the city limits of Monroe, we still have wild deer that visit nightly. "
