9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBullying. That is the main problem. It's not wide-spread, but there are 2 or 3 kids in every grade and the school and the district turn a blind eye. The same kids year after year, allowed to re-enroll, making learning hard, being abusive (to both classmates and teachers), and yet the school lets them re-enroll and every year those bullies get worse and worse because they know there are no real consequences, just a "talking to." One mother has moved her boys to Indian Hills Elementary because her 1st grader was tackled and choked on the playground. The former principal (W.Culley, who NEVER responded to my own complaints and now at West High) denied it until she made him look at the playground camera recordings and then he admitted it happened. Another family, whose mom taught at Bonneville, had to move her kids also to Indian Hills because of the Bonneville bullies (different grades). Those kids disrupt the classroom, suck up the teacher's time and attention when he/she could be helping the whole class. Despite having many great teachers that my four kids have loved, I can't keep them there. Joining the Indian Hills crowd.Parent Review2mo ago - Clayton Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended East High School after spending K-8 in private school. I wish I had kept her in private school. East High Administrators' focus is on athletics and perhaps drama. Everything else takes a distant second. My daughter was a part of a STEM program which was discontinued before her last year. One day, the students were given the choice of attending a football game or sitting in the auditorium, but classes were cancelled due to the game. This occurred twice in two years. Some of her teachers were great. Others had a vague idea about who she was when we came to parent teacher conferences. She hated it there and put forth the effort to graduate early, which I applaud for less time wasted. I gave the school two stars instead of one for the handful of wonderful teachers and counselors who are doing their best for the students.Parent Review7y ago - Innovations High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageInnovations early college high school is very underrated in the state but it's very good. You can get help in anything whether it's emotional or academics. There are tutors who can help you in your assignments as well as your mentors, plus teachers and staff. They will help you achieve your academic goals, whether it's graduating early or not, taking college classes early etc. I really do recomend this school. You even have stufy periods where you can work individually. it's not like other high schools where you have 4 periods a day and 2 hours a class. They as well offer classes at the nearby high schools that innovations doesn't have. It's a very welcoming school and easy to make friends no one judges. And parents/guardians get updates on the students assignments and grades etc.Student Review1y ago - Innovations K-8

"Easy commute, I feel like I can get anywhere in the valley in 15 minutes or less! The traffic in this neighborhood has increased exponentially and it is a huge downgrade to this once-quiet neighborhood. "

"The quaint lamposts and charming houses make this a particularly beautiful place to live. Some people are friendly, some not. I’d say 50/50. Halloween is a blast, and Christmas time, the decorations on Michigan Avenue cannot be beat!"
