6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagetoo much racism and bullying going on. I’ve been bullied almost all year and reported it multiple times and still no luck. One of the teachers said that one of the kids were bullying me because they like me. That does not make it okay. The school doesn’t care about the students and are just worried about their reputation and property. One of the teachers recently called a student annoying and mocked her after she said she wanted to text her mom after the teacher didn’t let her go to the restroom. There’s been multiple students she has not let into the bathroom for no absolute reason. It’s not just that, but the same teacher didn’t let a student use the bathroom until she peed herself. This school is not a school you would want your child to go to if you want them to have a good education experience.Other Review1y ago - Troy Buchanan High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have gone to this school since kindergarten, they are currently at the end of 1st and 2nd grade. To see the ratings so low is absolutely shocking! I feel like they are receiving an above average education. For example: 1.) My son was having issues pronouncing a letter at the beginning of 1st and his teacher immediately recognized that. She reached out and he was able to correct his pronunciation with the help of the speech teacher by the mid/end of the year. 2.) Any time I feel like I am having an issue I can always reach out to their teachers, assistant principal or principal and receive an answer or resolution that day. 3.) The staff goes way above to accommodate to the kids at the school. They greet children by names every day morning! 4.) The homework assigned is age appropriate. There isn't overload, but enough to engage their minds. 5.) Every month they receive a new character quality and learn all about it. They discuss these things at home. Overall I am extremely happy that my children attend Main Street Elementary. If you ask them they are too! They always talk about how much they love the school and the staff. Trust me, this rating at Great Schools is off!Main Street Elementary is a 10/10 school.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 195 Lewis St.

"We live too far apart to be very friendly. We have spoken and gone to dinner with one couple. Both neighbors have been there to help plow snow when we needed it. "

"Long, I like living out in the country but it’s far away from family and friends. I usually spend a min of two hours just driving each day. It’s just too far away from everything. "
