It's not just because I go here, but also because of the many opportunities I have to explore my interests and passions. The teachers are always supportive and helpful, and they genuinely care about their students' success. The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, sports teams, and clubs to get involved in, which has helped me make new friends and develop my leadership skills. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has bought into a Kindness Challenge philosophy and tries to guide behavior with positive reinforcements. A lot of time and energy is invested accordingly. There are now 3 programs in addition to the neighborhood school - special needs K-2, PACE, and EAP. It is challenging to meld all four seamlessly but admin and PTA give it a good effort. "This location is very convenient there are several grocery stores within a five mile radius. There are lots of parks and some of the most beautiful views of lake Washington and the snow capped mountains even in the summer. It is a very family friendly neighborhood."

"I’ve lived here for almost 4 years. We live it here because we’re very centralized to all the conveniences, grocery stores (not to mention PCC is right done the street from us), and about 20 minutes to Bellevue/Seattle or any other lovely cities and towns. Lots of trails and parks. Great for families with kids."
