8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a great place to gain your education. The teachers are all very supportive of the students and will go the extra mile to help you in any way. Since it is a small community the teaches tend to care more and have more one on one interaction with the students. The other staff, including the Principal are all very helpful and make the extra effort to be involved so as to show that they care and actually do want you to succeed and not just get you through high school. The classes are more geared towards expanding your knowledge and grasp of the real world then for test scores, which takes a lot of stress off the student. Even though most of the kids have grown up together they're normally very receptive to new students and go out of their way to make them feel comfortable in the school. Over all this is a great school in a close knit community. There's a lot to be offered by the staff at BVHS, from academic to emotional support. The staff often becomes not only your educators but somewhat of a family, constantly pushing you to succeed in any way possible.
