4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has gone from pre-k to 5th grade this year at this school and has excelled in everything. The teachers he's had have all been great and he's loved going there every year. He's in the GT program and gotten straight A's every year. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLake View High School was the only school who helped me with what I needed to do to enroll my brother. I called Central high school and they never called me back. TLCA told me "they couldn't help me with my problem". The Lake View High School principle called me and helped me get everything sorted out with his current school in order to be enrolled at Lake View. Very professional and very polite and never once made me feel like a burden when the other 2 High Schools did. Thank you Lake View High School for helping me. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBullying runs rampant despite zero tolerance policy. Teachers do not help even if informed. Several students forced to change schools. Students do not have to participate in PE. Detention almost never given but ISS is rampant.Parent Review9y ago

"this neighborhood is very friendly and quiet.. I've lived here for 41/2 years now and I love it. I feel safe and I feel that my kids are in a safe neighborhood. Sometimes there has been dogs out of the yards but they have all been friendly..there is more cats than dogs thou for sure!! "

"There are a hand full of parks near this location, within walking distance. This area is centrally located to most popular restaurants and shopping spots. It is directly next to loop 306, so traveling to the other side of town is quick as well. I love living over here because I'm not far from anything. My neighbors are always friendly and willing to talk, and I don't ever worry about my mail or packages being stolen. There are new homes being built in this area that are affordable for new families, and many older homes are being remodeled. Most of the lots have large front and back yards, so we have room for our dogs and a place to build a shop."

"People seem pretty happy with dogs in the neighborhood they don’t bother anybody really , nobody ever complains about the dogs either . Seems great That’s about all I have to say about it I guess"

"I have lived in this same area sense 1977, it's a great neighborhood and good schools too.the ppl around the area are friendly and there are parks all around als9,. Neighborhood corner store, it's a nice place to raise a family.."
