9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSince there are no recent reviews, I will give a breakdown on Wilson right now. Frankly, Wilson is not at its best right now. There is a lack of enthusiasm among students and little to no school spirit. The current principal only seems to micro-manage instead of promoting an enjoyable environment. Although academics are supposed to be a GAWHS strongpoint, it has been steadily declining for a while now. Social media rumors are taken incredibly seriously as well as any threats, so safety is a plus. Actual bullying is not handled well at all and ends up accomplishing little to nothing or creates a more hostile environment.The school in general is not that active and don’t get me started on teachers.Lots of teachers at GAWHS are super flippant, its like flipping a coin every year. There is an amount that are qualified and good at teaching and another handful who do not do their jobs and essentially create “independent study times” everyday. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWith all honesty, the school academics don't make up for the lack of attention payed to students being bullied. Not only are students not adequately disciplined when it matters but they focus on upholding the most ridiculous policies. A student will be sent home with rips on their jeans before a student gets reprimanded for being a bully. We've dealt with this nonsense for years and are considering homeschooling. Other parents have opted the same, not sure where you can get a copy of these statistics from the past 2 years but you'll see an increase of students being pulled out from this school in particular. I do not feel my child is safe here and as messed up as it may seem I would not be surprised to hear of a school shooting occuring at this campus due to the negligence of psychological/mental health of the students at this school. Last school year(22/23) there were 2 notices about such threats without much information being provided further than that. Also the attention the KDIP program receives vs the English classes is ridiculous. "Just recently moved in a month ago. Everyone is talking care of their lawns, planting trees, and remodeling their homes. It's very quiet and peaceful. On a sunny day, people would walk their dogs. Great place to be since it's a hop and skip away from everything!"

"I see people walking their dogs all the time. Neighborhood has lots of trees and grasses. I don't see too many cars on street. This is a perfect place for dogs to run around. Perfect place to raise a family and enjoy everything that Hacienda Heights has to offer. "
