8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a Ridges parent and my child has special needs (autism, language issues). This school has outstanding administration. Teachers indeed want what’s best for a child. They definitely don’t have all resources that they need (for example, no OT professional on side), but it’s not teachers or administration fault. Special Ed specialist is knowledgeable and has lots of experience. Absolutely amazing para-professionals and aids that work with kids 1:1 or in small groups!!!! Teachers work closely with parents (send an evening email and you will have a reply by next morning) and administration to meet a child’s needs as much as possible (for example, schedule flexibility around child therapeutic needs outside school). If you are considering this school for your child with special needs, it’s a good choice, as much as it can be taking into consideration funding and overall limited resources across schools in general. Know exactly what type of support your child need (1:1 learning, OT support, lots of breaks, strategies for sensory overload) for academic progress and bring it to IEP meeting.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 17679 SW Wapato St.
