2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my years as a student there it was the most inconsistent place I have ever been too. Security were a joke and did not care about safety having inappropriate relationships with students, including teachers. Sports programs are the most laughable part of the school. The only good teachers in my opinion are Mrs. Gan and a science teacher by Ms. G. They were honestly the only reliable teachers in this schoolParent Review1y ago - Jerry R Junkins Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis year has been the worst experience. My child started 3rd grade with 3 teachers. One for home room and math, one for science and social studies and one for reading and language arts. The science and social studies teacher was taken from 3rd grade and moved to 5th. This left the 3rd graders with no one teaching them these subjects. After receiving several progress reports and a report card with missing grades, I reached out to his hometown teacher several times. There was no response or communication. I then reached out to his reading teacher only to find out his homework teacher/math teacher has resigned. Now he is left with just the reading and language arts teacher. There was no proper communication. My son still has missing grades but yet he is expected to take these tests and pass. This is not setting my child up for success. This is a set up for failure. It’s extremely frustrating. I will move to avoid him having to attend this school next year.Parent Review1y ago - Ewell D Walker Middle School

"this is a dog friendly neighborhood. People pick after their pets here. Addison has a lot of Vet clinics and pet Hotels. most apartment here are Dog friendly, I would say about 90%. Most apartments also have Amentities for Pets, like pet wash, Pet Play areas and there is also a huge park in Addison Circle that is Pet friendly."

"The traffic on DNT is horrible. It’s horrible on 635 as well. Leave your home early or sit in traffic."
- Craig E. G.

"Addison sucks for families. Only live there if you are single and want to party every night. Addison is not a place to raise a child."
- V.johnston22

"To and from work or school is my normal commute. I walk to the gym, grocery store, and community activities that the park ( Vitruvian park) host. I drive to get gas as well which is just about a half a mile away. There is normally something to do every 2 weeks if not sooner for people of all ages. Most events are family friendly. So overall I would say my commutes are short and sweet when traffic isn’t so bad on I35 or I635 North and east."
- Laura C. J.
