"I commute to Dearborn for work. It's not bad. I take side streets to i75 to I 96 and then to i94. taking I94 directly is not for me. Too much stop n go traffic till you get past i75 interchange. Driving to Detroit is easy, I just take Jefferson Avenue all the way. "

"Fantastic community with a rich history, geographically close to downtown Detroit while still having a decidedly small town feeling to it. Great schools, public parks, shopping, dining, mature trees, architectural character, and access to Lake St. Clair. Best of all, however, are the people. "

Close to groceries, salons, clothing stores, doctors and medical facilities, dentists, Neighborhood Club, parks and recreation. 10 minutes from downtown Detroit. Excellent public safety with a police response in under a minute. Perfect neighborhood for young families."

"I grew up in GPShores, moved away after getting married and returned (now to GPCity) before my oldest started kindergarten. I loved the Shores, but the City is even better. I love Maire Elem. I love being in walking distance to both the Hill and the Village. The "South-end" is just awesome (even from a North alum). "
