4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI dont like that everything is so expensive and none of the funds seem to be going to the school itself. Other than that, I think this school is doing really well and the teachers do care about how well you are doing. The band directors are the greatest and are very passionate about what they're doing. I owe them more than I could offer(:Other Review10y ago - Red Sands Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school and district is by far the worst ive ever been involved in. If your kids are not spanish speaking, they put them aside and focus more on the other low income families. My kids were even being picked on at one point and the school actually told us they do not believe in bullying at this age. My son and daughter had to physically fight off bullies. It stopped. I was involved with activities at the school to stay involved and the parents just didnt care. This district is way behind on all standards. I moved my kids to san antonio and what a difference. If at all possible avoid sending your kids here.Parent Review10y ago - Mountain View High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a senior at Mountain View high school, I have been here for 4 years. I love this school so much. I've seen old staff leave and new staff go. When I was a freshman Mr.Martinez was the principal, and now we have Mr.Harrington. I really appreciate what Mr.Harrington has done for us as students. At Mountain View high school, they do offer many activities, such as rifle team, color guard, cheer leading, track, softball, baseball, football, cadet challenge, etc. They do only have spanish as the foreign language but that will eventually expand. Mountain view high school is now offering child development, and a new nursing program! It is just excellent, and they offer an amazing cosmetology class. As for the administration, they are a great administration, and they are very strict about attendance. The school does offer tutoring, and to prevent from losing credit, you can go to tutoring and make up your hours. This year they have this new laptop thing. Every student receives a laptop in the beginning of the year, and each teacher has a google classroom where the teachers assign homework and classwork. My overall perspective towards the school and administration is excellent. Another thing I wanted to mention was the shaving, for the boys, the administration reminds them to be clean shaved everyday to look nice and prepare for the future. Every student needs to dress for success!Student Review7y ago - Clint Isd Early College Academy

"Most dog walkers are friendly and respectful picking up after their dogs. The neighborhood works well together when an owners dog gets loose. We have beautiful parks, mountains with great trails for walking. There are dog groomers and pet stores available. So many neighbors have picked up stray dogs, brought them to get checked for a chip so that they can be reunited with their families."
