Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from September 01, 2023
There's still time to have this home before Summer ends! A NEW furnace and condenser was installed three years ago, a huge expense taken care of for you. Step in to this freshly painted, Townhome, that is an end unit on a corner lot, which equals, more privacy for you. The living room is large enough for many pieces of furniture, and includes a wood burning fireplace to use on those cool New England evenings. (they will return) Neutral colors on the wall means it will blend in with whatever your style is. The elevated dining room that overlooks your deck and back yard, has plenty of room for a large table and has slider doors for natural sunlight, which leads out to your oversized 14' x 18' deck, perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing (2 Privacy Screens)(deck painted by the HOA). Your kitchen has matching white appliances together with white cabinets, and new vinyl plank flooring, keeping the look fresh and clean. There is a full basement, so an abundance of storage options are available. Upstairs is a large primary bedroom with neutral paint color, hardwood flooring and not one, not two, but three huge closets. Steps away from your bedroom is the full bathroom with tub and shower. The other bedroom has an additional two closets, new neutral paint color, and laminate wood flooring. There is a linen closet near the bathroom (more storage) Central Air and Vac, Humidifier, Ring Doorbell, Security, Smart Lock and Thermostat, newer washer, electric dryer, what's not to love

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, I was disappointed. As I said, I'm sure it works for some but, I expected so much more. I will say this, the school is very conservative and traditional - if that works for your family, you'll probably love it. In my experience some of the teachers just go through the motions, perhaps they are burnt out, but I didn't get the feeling that they were invested at all in education, children or anything - it really is a shame. If you have a son of color proceed with caution!!!Parent Review5y ago - Poquonock Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePoquonock is a great school!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i went here from 4th to 5th grade. My teachers were awesome and the school had many fun 5th grade only activities. Our principal was very nice too. Poquonock is the best school in Windsor!Other Review11y ago - Sage Park Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school ever and also I say this because teachers do not care about students and mostly worried about their pay . Principals are very strict with bathrooms like for an example at this school students are not allowed to use the restroom after 2:10 ??? That's is very unnecessary because what if a students had to actually use the bathroom during that time just letting you know school ends like 2:50 nobody can't hold in for 40 MINUTES. Way too much homework for teachers not even to grade. Lots of kids skipping class because class is too hard and it's not fun anymore. There is only a 2-3 minute passing period which is not fair when classes are too far and when teachers do not care and mark you tardy which results in a detention. gym class is awful too they force you into a activity and if you do not wear sneakers or do the activity or be late to class that's a point of your grade and they are very rude the teachers and give attitude for no reason. I'm not coming backStudent Review8mo ago - Windsor High School

"I have lived in Windsor for 5 years. It has been the perfect location! I work in downtown Hartford and I take the bus into the city from a commuter lot in my town. It’s a relaxing 15min ride into and out of Hartford and as close as I am to the capital, Windsor is cute with lots of farms and the small, quaint town feel I was looking for. I’m loving it!"

"Live in the harvest Lane neighborhood for the last 9 years. One of the best places to live in the state. A very sort after neighborhood to live. Took us a while to get a house, because no one moves from it. Unless they are retiring and moving to Florida. The trails that are connected off the street that leads to Northwest Park and the reservoir for hiking are incredible. The family atmosphere is that of an extended family. The kids, the parents even the pets all know each other. We can’t ask for more from such a tranquil place we live in with so much harmony and love. #HarvestLane4Life "
