4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI worked at this school as a teacher before transferring to another school district and eventually retiring. I was in total disbelief the first few weeks at this school after observing the inappropriate conduct displayed by the students in the classrooms and in the halls. I witnessed everything from fights to students setting fires in the restrooms. The majority of the students roam the halls and disturb the other classes, creating a chaotic environment. I very seldom observed any administrators in the hallways.Many of the students cannot read, yet I never observed any administrators from the special services department in the classrooms to render any support. Everyone from the principal to the administrators at the district level work separately from each other therefore creating a very disorderly and disorganized atmosphere. I can thoroughly understand why this school district is at rock bottom on test scores in the state of South Carolina and will continue to do so. "It’s a rest area for people traveling via I-95. Hardeeville has some history but nothing notable. Neighbors throughout Hardeeville are nosy and go through grave lengths to find out your business. I do not recommend Hardeeville as a destination to live. I’ve lived here for over 10 years and I’ve found Hardeeville to be a place more for the retired population. "

"Hardly any sidewalks. Parents should keep a close eye on their kids when playing outside. Other than that it’s a small quiet town."

"traffic is slow every morning because I live in front of a school. With no one directing traffic or a traffic light. Same thing when school gets out. There is a massive line of cars that don’t care about the people who actually live here."

"I drive myself to work. The traffic is moderate during typical heavy traffic times. I have not noticed any public transportation at all. "
