3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff is rude and unhelpful. They employ teachers who make inappropriate comments to female students and destroy student's property without being held accountable. Parents with concerns are dismissed and when brought to the district's attention they make excuses as to why situations are not handled appropriately.Parent Review2y ago - River Valley High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at this school, for the first month at least, has been a roller coaster of sentiments, mostly hatred, melancholy, and a little bit of whatever pleasure or joy you can get from a low grade, low effort in giving a feeling of security, school. Every school in this vicinity provides a sense that everyone is there to compete against each other to be better, having a hierarchy system for intelligence which, for the most part, has been rigged to where sports kids are allowed to be in higher classes due to their athletic ability and are treated better because of it. At my junior high graduation ceremony, everyone would cheer for the athletes rather than the people who will actually get somewhere, myself included. Some students are allowed to bully others, and when they get called out for it they are victimized and threatened, those who are bullied will use their past to get them in trouble, and teachers do not see the line between bullying and joking (What little joking there is). Not complaining about students as it is not the absolute worst thing, the teachings are also laid back to the point where you have no time to finish projects and end up with them missing, and some teachers ignore your questions or concerns and restate previous things they mention. Very few teachers actually made me feel secure and rather they prove to me they just relatively teach for money, as I never had a week where all the teachers I had were there and the substitute did nothing but let us do whatever we please. River Valley High School also includes little to no internet connections for most projects, insects everywhere (Dead crickets scattered through halls, walkways, etc), inadequate hygiene, and broken air conditioning, which for Arizona, when school starts during Late July - Early August, is absolutely inhumane. I currently attend because there isn't any other around where we live, going into it I already had a feeling the school would only care about sports, which I stand correct, they do it because they want money as they are excessively cheap and sketchy, to the point where I bring my own lunch instead. That being said, do NOT go to this school, if you do I am sorry for those who attend if you have to or not.Student Review1y ago - Cruhsd Academy

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has improved over the years. Teachers and staff provide more than just academic support for students. The academy feels like more of a home for students who were left in the sidelines in regular high schools.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 1632 Nottingham Dr.

"Except for the four months summer heat the weather is wonderful the remaining 8 months. Entertainment is available across the River in Laughlin NV. A 4 month quail season and 12 month cottontail season along with predators keeps the hunter busy while the Colorado River and lake Mohave makes a day of fishing easy to plan."

"I have lived here for the last 30 years. depending on your child's age I feel strongly after dark most children should be home. the ones who can still be safe out after dark should only be of later teen years. Parents need to be more involved in what their children are doing and I don't think any children should be able to be out after dark. "
