7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to this area July 2012 from Kingsport, TN. My oldest son was going into 3rd and my youngest son into Kindergarten. I love this school & not only do I love it, but my kids do too. The previous school my oldest attended, was rated a 9 on this site & I have to say that I am surprised that this school isn't rated that as well. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers seem to be more concerned about their personal life than teaching or a power trip over nonsense than lessons. The principal has NEVER been helpful to any issues I have had as a matter of fact he even walked away and was rude when I brought up a dress code issue that I was trying to discuss with him. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone if they want their child to have an actual education instead of immature adult running and teaching your children. "Jeff county high school is terrible. The playground for elementary kids is awesome. I think the other schools are decent teacher wise. But the high school doesn’t want to work with kids that need to learn differently."

"I've lived here since December of 2017. I have grown up in the area though. I'm 20 with a 1 year old and definitely don't like this particular neighborhood in Jefferson City because it's not as kid friendly as I like because this is an apartment complex. the houses near by have pets and swingsets out in their yards so that part is kid friendly. I've not had any issues with anything as of yet and it's very convenient to get to places. we often walk to the stores around here. "
