3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could rate Suitland HS with zero stars, I would. 2 of my daughters attended Suitland, at different times, and they both had horrible experiences there. I constantly had to deal with being told what "these kids" do, while discussing my children. The staff lacks professionalism, compassion, and concern. Everything going on in the school is based on discipline and punishment. They are not there supporting the kids as they should be. It almost comes off like they're expecting the children to fail or setting them up to fail. Both of my daughters took nothing good away from their high school experience at Suitland. "I live in Peppermill Village (Capitol Heights). What makes Peppermill unique is the community park & trail, neighbors are welcoming, and a sense of community. Although, I have lived here for less than year and a half. I'm very pleased to have moved from Northern Virginia to this community."
