2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNichols is a great school. I have had experiences with many of the teachers in the school, and they all care about the students. One teacher called it her "ministry". There is a new PACSA board that is working to fulfill the needs of students and parents. The principal is community driven and often goes door-to-door to encourage parents to get involved with their student's education. An even stronger parent presence is what this school needs to be a shining star within DPS. Good school.Parent Review9y ago - Southeastern High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI hate that they put bull stuff on here about the schools that are not true. Southeastern is a great program and have so much to offer. The test score kids don't just take serious but that don't mean they don't no. I had a 16 on my A.C.T In now is at the University of Michigan- Flint and doing a great job thanks to EAA and the pace space that get everyone ready and in the mind frame on how college workOther Review7y ago - Check out schools near 1462 Van Dyke St #8014.

"I've lived in West Village for one year and have fallen in love with this neighborhood. The neighborhood has so much character and is very walkable. I love taking my dog to the dog park and meeting other neighbors there. People are very friendly and the neighborhood is diverse. There are many cute little restaurants, bars, and shops in the area which all have a very community-forward vibe. "

"The biergarten in the summers are great to enjoy with friends. We have events for dogs and dog owners (also open to anyone) in the same area such as a Halloween costume party! There are also several community gardens that I've seen."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost 5 years. We are actually in West Village, next to Islandview. islandview is beginning to get worked on and house redeveloped, while there are pockets of established redevelopment, West Village is a little further along, but the strong sense of community. Most everyone says hi to neighbors, there is an Association that meets regularly, holiday neighborhood events, block party’s, etc. a good number of children playing, and diverse! I love living here with my wife and expecting kid!"

"while w.v. is not as well known as its famous neighbor indian village, it is nevertheless a great neighborhood. housing stock is superior."
