"We are a military based community, many activities are posted and enjoyed. However, there are very few amenities such as good food doctors available for the community not enough of them so aged people are going to suffer. We don’t even have an EMT or children "

"my neighborhood in havelock has drug addiction bad and gunshots as late as 3am. Unless you live on base area it's not that safe anymore."

"It's all Marine Corps service members and their families. It is on base, so that adds to the security feeling. It also helps knowing you can leave your home unlocked, leave, come back, and no one touched it."

"This is a safe neighborhood with great neighbors! Sidewalks all the way around the cul-de-sac with kids riding bikes and families enjoying the coastal Carolina sunshine! The smell of barbecues and fresh cut grass and birds singing and kids laughter in the air! By far the best neighborhood in Havelock. "
