7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son just finished kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary, and I feel so fortunate to be part of this school community. From teachers to administrators to parents and community partners, I know he's part of a community that is passionate about learning and making a difference here in downtown Oakland and beyond.Parent Review4y ago - Oakland Technical High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son graduated from Oakland Tech in 2021. They prepared him for college and is doing well. He was part of the Race, Policy, and Law academy and had excellent teachers. My son had an IEP and his services were excellent. I'm disappointed in the review by the parent complaining about "labor strife." Very consistent with my experience with many of the families there. Truthfully, they were very rude and entitled. We support the teachers 100%.Parent Review10mo ago - Westlake Middle School

"friendly, very diverse, proud and cosmopolitan people, pretty and colorful buildings on tree-lined streets and hills with views of the Bay. But, if you are considering moving here, don't. Its a crime_ridden, overpriced hellhole with scary people all over the place "
