A student can live 2 miles away by means of road/public routes and be denied bus services if they are in a one mile radius from the flag pole at the elementary even if the kids go to the Intermediate school.My kids are also showing signs of lapsing on what they already know coming form a different state. After orientation, Anna, our senior tour guide, showed our son the entire campus and was very knowledgeable and kind while answering our questions and concerns. She showed us everything around the school and reassured us that our student is in great hands. "Redfield is a small town where everyone knows everybody and all their business. There are more churches in the area than in most large cities but no where good to eat for a date night without driving 25 minutes to Little Rock so nightlife here is a bust. The elementary school is okay but the Jr. High recently closed and the kids are being shipped to White Hall which has left a bad taste in some parents mouths. If your are not born and raised in the area then you are an outsider. I have lived here for 20 years and still considered an outsider. This is more relevant when it comes to your children participating in school and sports activities. It is a clean, safe place to live but be warned that you will be an outsider when it comes to city politics and schools."
