6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHigh school basketball c team it’s very obvious that she has no idea on how to coach I have been coaching for 20 years and she doesn’t no how to use her bench and I noticed 3 players leaving crying the coach is supposed to bring them she shows favorites to players that play on her softball team and doesn’t even give other players a chance how to you think these kids feel tonight I heard you tell a player she wasn’t fast enough. That’s not what it’s about use your bench or you will over work your favorites me and other parents are very disappointed you had no game plan and shot to many 3 no defense and just very frustrating bring your girls confidence up not down like you did tonight these girls look up to you it’s a TEAM SPORT BUT YOU SHOWED FAVORITES AND THATS WRONG AND UNPROFESSIONAL ALOT OF GIRLS I SAW IN PARKING LOT CRYIN VERY CONCERNED PARENTSParent Review1y ago - Matthews Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough good things about Matthews. I never dreamed a public school with over 500 students could feel like a home to me and my child and welcome us with open arms and understanding hearts. The staff is truly invested in what is best for each child and makes real, genuine connections with each them. I’d live in a cardboard box before sending my kids anywhere else.Parent Review5y ago - Grain Valley North Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers seem great! My daughter seems to like most of them just fine. She has all A's so they are doing something right! The school is nice and clean. The Principal is a joke though. ALL he cares about is attendance. Your kid can have a 4.0, be part of clubs, band, absolutely NO behavior issues what so ever and no tardies, but they aren't allowed to participate in "Eagle Leader" field trips because they got sick and it made their attendance low. However, a kid who has behavior issues on the regular, all C's and up to 7 tardies can go, as long as they have good attendance. They encourage teachers and students alike to come to school at all costs, even if they are sick, contagious and going toing to spread sickness. After Covid, this seems insane to me. While I would say I recommend this school based on the teachers, I most certainly would not recommend this school based on the administration that runs it.Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 1404 NE Mary Ct.

"There are several community events throughout the year. Movies in the park spring into summer, fall festivals, the Santa bus that goes through the neighborhoods greeting all the children and giving gifts and free photos. It’s an awesome city and I wouldn’t live any where else!"

"I've lived in this neighborhood since the mid 80's. a lot has changed with gv since then and a lot of neighbors have changed too. ive chosen to stay here in this neighborhood because i like the quiet. i like that my kids have neighbor kids to play with while not being influenced by drugs or drinking. there is vertually no theft in this neighborhood. i almost never see cops being called here either. if your dog (or chicken) gets out, someone is always willing to bring it back to you. the parents in this neighborhood are also pretty good about teaching their kids values and active at keeping an eye on their kids as well as yours. i hate the idea of leaving this neighborhood when we will eventually outgrow this house. if only every neighborhood could as great as this one. "I work at the plaza so it’s about 30 minutes. Not too bad if I leave early to avoid traffic. If I do happen to get stuck in traffic it kinda sucks but nothing like STL or Cali for example "
