"No public transport. But busy when the military base & one elementary school lets out. Traffic is busy approximately 3 to 6 pm. 4 lane highway with some traffic lights causing delays at prime pm time. Otherwise great & fast commute. "

"There are farmers markets every Saturday, always having fireworks at the landing and at Christmas time Santa goes around the neighborhood on a fire truck blasting music!"

"A lot of people are out walking their dogs. We have one small dog and our only issue is that our fence backs up to our neighbors on both sides. One neighbor two large dogs and they have busted through our fence a couple of times. We just worry about our little dog’s safety in that one instance. In general, it is a very dog friendly area."

"Research all the area prices vary greatly. The father into Navarre the bigger and cheaper you can find homes near very good schools. There aren’t many groups to meet new people but neighbors are friendly "

"Mary Esther is a very calm, very nice town. Most of the people in our neighborhood know and look out for each other. Children are safe to play outside, noise is minimum. It’s close to base, so you will hear them practicing at night; but you really don’t hear or mind it at all. "

"Quiet area, a few children, some retired, others are rentals. Dead end street makes for no traffic, 95% of homes are in excellent condition. Close to everything you could want, most of it in walking distance. Very low crime area. Great place to raise a family !!!"

"The area is very nice and most convenient to neighboring schools, shopping center, major stores, and the worlds most beautiful beaches with white sand and sunsets. While close in proximity to Destin, Mary Esther is quaintly located within reach of Hwy 98 with easy access Pensacola, Panama City and Hwy 10 access East to West.
