7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood, this school district has a lot of different classes for the students to take. This exposes the students to a wide variety of experiences. I have not seen this in another school district in NJ as of yet.Parent Review5y ago - Hillside Ave School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal is very down to earth and accommodating, however some of the 7th grade teachers need some professional developing. I'm a teacher transitioning into school leadership and it's clear to any educator with a trained eye that there are a few teachers in this school that do the bare minimum. I know as a school leader there isn't much you can do with an old tenured educator, however a push is definitely needed.Parent Review2y ago - Livingston Ave School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA terrific school: great relationship between teachers, families and administration. Very efficient process to acclimate new families-kudos to admin office staff. When it comes to LAS, all (administration, parents, teachers) pull together to make students the # 1 priority. Highly recommend.Parent Review5y ago - Walnut Ave School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attends Kindergarten here (2016). We are very happy with the quality of teaching and rigor of the kindergarten program. It's the right balance of fun and learning. I wish the program were full time. I'm a working single mom and child care is an issue.Parent Review7y ago - Check out schools near 130A Lexington Ave.

"Has many families in the area. There are neighborhood parties at the end of the summer. People get out and walk or run. Lots of families with kids from all ages, but you'll also find people who are just a couple and their kid is their dog! It's a great neighborhood to live in cause its walk-able to nyc transportation being bus or train. Lots of new shops that has come into town in the past couple of years that give a nice flavor to dinning. Or if you want you can quickly get to other towns from here! I don't do much of the nightlife so I really can't rate that good or bad. That's something you'll have to check out for yourself. :)"
