Fun events and after school programs. This is one of the best middle schools in a very sought after school district. There are some weird 1-star reviews about a fidget spinner getting taken away and some covid reviews.. come one now people. "Although it's a small area of San diego, you can find most everything you need in Rancho Penasquitos. It's a safe place to live with a great school system. You will find all the shopping you need. Food, clothes, art supplies, home goods, tools, ect.. without losing itself in the hustle and bustle of San Diego."

"Great school district-Poway Unified. Several Blue Ribbon schools. Quiet. Safe at night. Great for raising kids. Close to freeways without being noisy. 30 mins to downtown, 30mins to North County, 10-15 mins to the beach. Be sure to check out "Christmas Card Lane" in December! Cons: Sometimes, there are fires and we get evacuated. "
