2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEnforces cultural appropriation during senior dress-up week and all the other dress-up weeks there are. I thought this school was diverse ???Pocahontas was based on a REAL native person named Matoaka. And her story is not the same as disney portrayed, her story was brutal. Not a cute little love story. My ancestors do NOT deserve to be mocked. And our culture is NOT some costume for you to wear.Same goes with native Hawaiians… their culture is not to be mocked or used as some white washed costume. For a school so big on “diversity” y’all sure do NOT respect cultures. Fake advocacy at best.Whoever gave the green light on these dress attires for senior week should be held accountable OR enforce stricter rules on what can or cannot be used as a “costume” for dressup days. sad that i graduated from here.there was also always a bullying problem, would definitely not recommend sending your kids here.Other Review1y ago - Garcia-Leza Ec/Pre-K Center
