Description
First time on the market is this expansive 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 2 half bathroom family home in the beautiful Dansons Place Subdivision. The owners have spared no expense modifying the home plans to include a well thought out floor plan perfect for a large family. As you walk in the front door you are greeted by a stately two-story foyer and large office that is tucked away for peace and quiet while working from home. As you continue down the hall there is a large sunken in flex room that the current owners used as a playroom/den as their family needed with a full bathroom attached and a great drop zone connecting the garage and backstairs. The flex room connects to the beautiful family room with a cozy gas fireplace and great natural light. From the family room you have great sight-lines into the tastefully remodeled gourmet kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, gas range with stainless hood vent, drawer microwave, large island with deep sink and ice maker, as well as a wet bar with wine racks and plenty of storage. Upstairs the layout was very thoughtfully designed with the 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a bonus room that is currently used as a secondary office and homework/craft room as well as the laundry room and multiple storage closets and full length attic storage. If all of the space on the upper two levels isn't enough there is also a finished daylight basement perfect for game day that is complete with a wet bar, refrigerator, and half bathroom. The options for entertaining don't stop inside the house - The backyard is fenced in with a fire pit and a new deck and patio that span the whole length of the back of the house. The home has recently been extensively upgraded with new Hardie board siding and paint, a new roof and gutters, as well as 2 brand new water heaters. The current family has made many memories in this home over the last 30 years and are excited to see someone come in and love it as much as they have!

"Lots of local amenities and fun things to do. There are multiple breweries, restaurants, and novelty snack places to try "

"The city as a whole has becoming increasingly “sketchy” throughout. It still has good parts but even those areas are not as good as what they were 8 years ago. I’d suggest doing some strong research."

"Fourth and Gill is walkable, and located a short distance from downtown Knoxville. The neighborhood is quite charming with old Victorian and Craftsman houses. "
- Jennifer Langhammer

"Someone tried to break into our house once while we were home. And raccoons tear up our garbage bins every week. Lots of homeless people waking around and speeding cars "
- Danyel Henley

"We live on the water and we get to see a lot of boats/yachts go by. We are also close to campus so there is still a youthful vibe to the neighborhood. Knoxville has some of the best sunsets around, and being so close to downtown has made it easy to socialize. I would recommend better access to public transportation, but aside from that, this is a lovely place to live."
