6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has really enjoyed going to Cabrillo. They have a great band program, leadership class & do a good job encouraging students to make honor roll. She is moving onto high school next year & my youngest will be at Cabrillo for the first time. We are looking forward to the same experience for our youngest. Her counselor always met our concerns & the AP was always attentive to any issues. The front office was always nice on the phone when I called. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePierpont has been a great educational experience for our family. My kids look forward to going to school, in a positive learning and social atmosphere. Parent involvement is high; and most classes have daily parent volunteers, which is great for reducing the adult/child ratio. We benefit from a highly communicative staff. I always know how my kids are doing, both in the classroom and on the playground. All one has to do is ask! My children’s teachers have been 100% receptive (with great attitudes!) to meeting outside of school hours, to go into detail about my kids’ well-being and performance, in the classroom. They’ve been incredibly accommodating, encouraging, and proactive about meeting my children’s unique needs. I see my kids learning so much, and their lives being enriched. The school regularly incorporates activities like hip hop, gardening, beach days, yoga, ceramics, art lessons, and more, into the daily curriculum. I feel so very fortunate for our family to benefit from being a part of this special community. Great principal and staff! "I love walking my dogs, my neighbors are great. Friendly people. Nobody wanders on our property. Everyone is respectful of each persons space. Holidays and weekends can get packed on the beach. "

"I moved here from Wisconsin in 1986 and can honestly say "Ventura has it all!" From fabulous year-round weather (never too hot or too cold), ocean at your door, a wonderful marina with boating and great restaurants, and a lifestyle centered around the outdoors, the arts, theater and music, if this sounds like YOU, you need to come for a visit and see if you'd like to stay!"
