4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFarwell schools are now a joke from Last school year and from 2011 I've never had a problem till this year 2022- 2023 school year most of the staff don't care about the students or the parents thay also don't follow the ieps / state laws on that part thay discriminate agents people with special needs a++ to the teachers that I've had when I was in school and I've delt with in the past with my 2 boys I think wee need to go back to the principal we had last school year let's have a recap farwellParent Review1y ago - Farwell High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been a student here for 6 years (I've been to two other schools prior to this one) and I feel like this has been the worst one so far. If it was not so bad, then why do most students agree with the fact that thus place sucks. I have no clue if I will switch schools or not but with the way this school has been I'd be open for a new one. I have minor Autism and I feel the treatment of special needs in the school is attempted but in the wrong way. Sure some of the teachers are good but that's the small minority of them. I will give them props for having decent parent/child connection on the schoolfront, but other than that and the college prep called 'CTE' there really is not a whole lot to compliment about this place. The people have put me to borderline breakdown multiple times a month and the staff do not do anything to stop the bullying issue. I will also give them props for at least having a better hands on program for job/college prep than most schools, but then again that isn't just farwell, that includes the rest of the main schools in Clare County. I will not be disclosing my name in this, partially because of my own safety but also because I feel that the schol could use this against me to land me in a suspension. That is all I have to say on the matterOther Review3mo ago - Farwell Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFarwell Middle School staff is wonderful, and they go above and beyond every day to make our students feel safe and encouraged. Farwell offers many opportunities for extracurricular engagement, such as Science Olympiad, Girls Solve It, Girls on the Run, and sports such as Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Track. Being a small school, everyone really has a chance to get to know one another, and the staff are able to really help students get what they need to achieve greatness. My kids feel very safe and comfortable at Farwell, and they love going to school every day. Staff are very welcoming to parents, and do several parent engagement events through the year, such as Family Science and Math Nights, Reading events, etc. Middle school can be a tough place, but Farwell has counselors, mental health professionals, social workers, and other professionals in place to help students cope with difficulties and prepare them for high school. Overall, we love Farwell Middle School, and are proud to have our students attend here!Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 1171 Pocohontas St.
