7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went here from k-3rd grade. I pulled her out because she was so far behind in math it was sad! I homeschooled her until she got to middle school. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this school. She had problems in every grade. Poor thing didn't even like kindergarten because she said the teacher called them dumb!Parent Review2y ago - Francis Scott Key High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIm only a freshman rn (3/7/22) but i love it already. best tip for incoming freshmen to help you get along well with your upperclassmen is to not be obnoxious and try not to stir up too much drama. if you act immature the upperclassmen wont rlly like you that much. we like our quiet and we dont wanna have a headache first thing in the morning.Student Review2y ago - Northwest Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son came home asking for money to give to his teacher. I asked him what he was talking about, and he said she gave out food during a movie and he wanted to pay her back. I told him he wasn't allowed to have that particular snack and was upset teachers were handing out food and breaking their own policies. The kids are not allowed to bring in cupcakes on their birthday but the teachers can hand out whatever food they want? I called the school and left a message. The teacher that handed the food out was my son's homeroom teacher, and oddly I got a call back from his English teacher. She told me she was calling on behalf of his homeroom teacher and that "I needed some perspective on this because she was only doing it to be kind" I was BLOWN AWAY that this teacher did not have the guts to call me back, but had another teacher call me and berate me when they BROKE THEIR OWN RULE. Its not a kind gesture when you don't want your kid eat garbage in the middle of the day, when I packed him a nice full lunch. Not only that, the first week of 7th grade a boy took a picture of my son while he was using the bathroom. Let's not forget the fights and vaping problem. I am disgusted with this school and am looking at other options.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 111 Sienna Dr #208.

"I've lived here for 14 years, my kids grew up here. Good school zones. Kind neighbors, some you don't see much of, but rarely in all my years here have we encountered and issues. Very close to Kings Park and what we call the dog park which I think is actually named Bella Grove, right on the corner of Green St and Bond St. "

"I am very please with my commute to work as well as to convenient stores and shopping. Location and easy access to food and entertainment is important and Westminster provides that as well as my current location...however I miss my hometown of Frederick because there are more opportunities for children as far as community sports and activities.
