9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat our family liked about this school: diversity in culture and ethnicity in the student body, and overall caring teachers and staff. As a parent of a SPED student, however, I absolutely had to advocate much more strongly than expected for my child's needs (much more than at other schools); and I have heard similar experiences from other parents in the community. My child's outside specialists had a conversation with various school staff at one point and told me they could discern that that members of the SPED team likely had not even read up on my child's condition. Additionally, I was less than thrilled with some of the very strong and sometimes pushy personalities of district staff and specialists that were assigned to the team. Overall I am recommending this school, as it may be an ideal school for families of typically developing children who naturally lean toward high achievement, but our experience was that it was not the best thing for our particular child.Parent Review7mo ago - Tumwater Middle School

"Easy. Either by bus or Highway 26. It’s about 35 minutes into Portland either way. Highway 26 will always be busy and Burnside is easy to get down to Portland. "

"Terra Linda is close to all shopping, and services. Hwy 26 is 4 minutes by car to Murray entrance/exit. The neighborhood is closed on the north and west sides so there is no through traffic on Lovejoy and 133rd. Quiet at night. Lots of trees to enjoy and very frienly neighborhood. Very desirable neighborhood. Walk to Terra Linda Elementary and Sunset HS. "
