"There are neighbors who have aggressive breeds, one day they got away from owner, attacked and killed my neighbors dog, since that event I stopped walking my dogs because I’m scared of another encounter. It was reported to police and nothing was done, my dogs and I stay within confines of our gated yard "

"South Middle River is an up-and-coming area with tremendous community involvement. It is close to downtown and the beach, and the property prices are the most reasonable in Ft. Lauderdale."

"This suburb of Fort Lauderdale is quieter than the downtown area, yet close enough to make all of Las Olas available for nightlife and shopping options. Wilton Manors is just over the river, offering plenty of dining, shopping and clubbing options as well, plus daytime activities such as parks and canoeing on the middle river. The schools are actually underpopulated and well-funded, making for a prime choice for anyone with children."
