7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur child attends CH. When we first moved to the area CH was ranked 9/10 and was considered the "better" high school in Clayton. This is no longer the case. This school does not provide a safe learning environment. In 2023 it was reported that the special education teachers were spraying special needs students with water in order to modify behavior. Weekly, there are several student fights occurring in the hallways or other common areas. In 2023, a student was transferred via ambulance to the emergency room for suspicion of a drug overdose. Students are taking pictures of other students while in the bathroom and sharing amongst their peers. Despite the frequency of such instances, the administration refuses to discipline students for such conduct in a timely manner and the severity in which such offenses deserve. Bottomline, this school is not safe for your child. If your child plays sports this school is not for you. For example, the baseball coach prohibits students from playing other sports such as football or basketball. Athletic performance is under-achieving in all disciplines. Similarly, the educators lack professionalism and behave more like the students that they are supposed to lead, including vocally criticizing students in front of their peers. Due to the above factors, many parents have transferred their children to Corinth High or Academies. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBullying and hate crimes are hardly dealt with, bathrooms are often filled with students vaping. I like the teaching but it is difficult to learn with the constant fear of being bullied and having nothing done about it, and if you stick up for yourself, the school considers it a fight and will completely ruin your chances at getting into programs like SSS and JCECA.Student Review2mo ago - Corinth-Holders High School

"We enjoyed living in this neighborhood for a long time. It's a great place for kids to grow up and get to know the neighbors. The schools are within 3-4 miles of the community. You get the best of both worlds - small town community with downtown Raleigh just over 15 miles away."

"Short drive to major shopping areas, restaurants, work and nightlife. 10 minutes to Mudcat's Baseball Stadium. Quick access to IH-540, 440 and 40. Right on Beach Highway 64. Excellent mid-point from Raleigh to Rocky Mount and IH-95"
