"close to interstate 10 and highway 90. moderately quite but walkers and bicyclists have safety concerns because there are no sidewalks and street lights in a majority of the area. Several incidences causing injuries to pedestrian do to the lack of city maintenance "

"Parades and events small town local stores most people know each other thru parents grandparents or even spouses great area for kids there’s local farmer market and fast food and even auto part stores plenty of gas stations and parks for the people to enjoy and have a good time at. Local library’s are in the area to enjoy and if you can’t get it anywhere here there a local shopping area just down the street in Baytown "

"Becareful what area in Highlands you live in! Some streets are quite, and nice but there are crackheads roaming the streets especially around main street and near the stores! Will be moving as soon as my lease is up! "
