4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeacher Amber Cordova is an amazing teacher! I had her as a teacher during fourth and fifth grade and it was a great time, the class had the experience to learn about entrepreneurship by making lemonade stands, in this year though, reports say the students had the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship by making business stands! Overall the school was good, however, teacher Amber Cordova in particular was a great and fun teacher who greatly impacted my life!-Former Student Daniel R. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall Villago is a mess in my 8th grade year I started taking the bus which I had one for morning and one for afternoon except they never said which was which making me miss my bus the first day of 8th grade. From another 8th grader I knew, he lived in Arizona city where he would be dropped off miles away from home and complained to the higher ups with their parents but they didn't listen. Another problem was either teachers didn't care what you did or they could not stand the children to the point they would have to start drinking coffee to calm down (no this is not a joke). I can't say too much about the new principal but the old (much better) principle got a promotion to district and my 8th grade year he had given it off so it wouldn't be without a principal but I could tell the new principle could NOT handle the role from her old one. Many fights happened which are not fun. Also MANY kids there were horrid I would know I was also somewhat annoying but at least I wasn't splashing milk at others and getting mad when they retaliate. We did a few things in PE except for a lot of the time it would just be free time after running around the perimeter which sure is exercise but its not hands on and would leave kids to basically do what they want. Oh and they implemented a system to promote doing good things by giving you points to spend on a store with items, which is cool but it was honestly just a system to make the school seem nicer. Another way they did this was a semi good thing where every week we would have to fill out a form to see if we need to go to the councilor but that got annoying and repetitive if you didn't need it. On a different note, my science teacher in 8th grade would always bring political stuff up which I told the principal about and he had to tone it down (thank god this is school) which really shouldn't need to happen. Another thing about that teacher was they would always get side tracked I am going to be honest I can barely remember what happened in that class besides a little bit about cells and energy. They also use a bad tracking system named bark because you could be searching up something for a project but it could be considered bad by it so it would email your parents which gets annoying due to certain words that trigger it. Oh and also bark sucked if you set a time for it to check to make sure they aren't using the laptop anymore as long as they had something in their history every 15 mins it wouldn't work.Other Review3mo ago - Casa Grande Union High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI could never imagine a worst school. The only teachers who seem to care are the elective teachers. My son has been marked absent multiple times, because his teacher thought he and another student were the same kid. That was the teacher's explanation not mine. He has encountered violence he hadn't even seen in Phoenix Union. Teachers just hand out work give a brief explanation and tell the students to do it. When he asks for help he is belittled and dismissed, as if he isn't worth their time. I am not sure if they are just checked out after dealing with the pandemic or what is going on. It is completely unacceptable. If children are asking for help, they should get it regardless if you are in a bad mood or not.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 10620 W Appaloosa Trl #30.
