Description

Just renovated, with a remarkable central location (three blocks to the Barclay's Center/Atlantic Terminal subway station), three “real†bedrooms, the ABIILITY TO ADD A BATH OR HALF BATH, an in-unit washer/dryer hook-up, a beautiful shared GARDEN, storage in the basement, and super low monthlies, this North Slope CONDO is a rare find.
The spacious living room has 8-foot windows and 10-foot ceilings and offers plenty of room for a large living area and separate dining space. The just-renovated kitchen has stainless steel appliances, Caesarstone counters and backsplash, and ample storage and workspace. The layout is fantastic with the living room, kitchen and dining area in the front of the apartment, and the three-bedrooms nicely separated down the hall towards the rear.
The just-renovated bathroom is fully tiled, floor-to-ceiling, and has marble hex floor tiles and concrete-look ceramic tiles on the walls. The modern black fixtures compliment the walnut slat vanity.
Each of the three bedrooms has great closet space, including extra storage above each closet, making use of the terrific ceiling height. The primary bedroom get stunning light through two 8-foot south-facing windows that overlook the serene garden below. A wall of closets, plus the washer/dryer closet, can be found in the primary bedroom as well. A small shared balcony, a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and paper, is just outside.
Throughout the apartment you'll find just-refinished oak floors, amazing closet space (in addition to a closet in each bedroom there is a coat closet and two linen closets), and soaring ceilings. Ductlesss mini-split air conditioning can also be added.
104 St. Marks Place (Note: St. Marks PLACE, not St. Marks Avenue!) is an 8-unit, self-managed condo building with great financials, low monthlies, basement storage, bike storage, and a beautifully landscaped shared garden. At the crossroads of Park Slope and Boerum Hill, and a few blocks from both Prospect Heights and Fort Greene, it is hard to find a more central location. Neighboring units have added split system air conditioning and the condo is pet friendly too!

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son came to the school with ADHD diagnosed at 7, and three medical doctors requesting extra time on tests. The counsellor refused, referring to me as "you people," implying I wanted special privileges. The school psychologist disagreed with her assessment. My son failed classes. He got no support. I had to get the District supervisor to overrule this racist and cruel decision--reprimanding the school--but it was too late. Brooklyn Tech is a school that's run by a lot of angry and disillusioned people who take itheir frustrations out on the parents and kids who need them most. I would rather move out of town or go to a regular public school than send another child of mine here.Parent Review3w ago - Ps 282 Park Slope

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is in G&T which is white and Asian and lacking in any other diversity but I don’t think that is the school’s fault. I hate that, but again I don’t think that is PS 282 I think that is the old G&T system. so I have a particular viewpoint but lack of diversity in G&T aside im very happy at 282 so far. I’ve been impressed by Ms. Rodriguez’s leadership throughout the pandemic and so far my daughter’s teachers (prior to G&T and in G&T) have been truly amazing. The after school activity Tiny Scientist is the BEST and at 6 my daughter is leaning Spanish and loves to go to school every day.Parent Review2y ago - Ms 266 Park Place Community Middle School

"Please don’t bring more dogs to this neighborhood. We already have enough and owners already do a very poor job of either 1) picking up after them or 2) keeping them leashed. Saw a dog unlawfully unleashed in the park destroy a tree the other day. Continually have to ask owners to not let dogs defecate on our fenced sidewalk gardens. Just don’t. How hard is it? "
