"I’ve lived here for six years. It’s a wonderful place for families with children or folks who are looking for a quiet place in town to settle for retirement. Most of my neighbors are straight-laced and career oriented couples, about 30% of whom have children and about 50% have dogs. There is definitely an expectation of lawn care and maintenance and the HOA helps to enforce a certain mundane, suburban-style aesthetic, though there are some creative yards and exteriors. As a twenty-something, the neighborhood has been fairly boring and the Waldo restaurants, while easily accessed, are oriented towards the 30+ crowd. As previously mentioned, this is a lovely and safe neighborhood to raise a family or settle, but might fall short for those looking for a young social or artistic community."

"We love this peaceful and inviting Waldo neighborhood of Westmoreland. We sit and relax on the roomy front porch and watch our neighbors, and their dogs, walk by. We can stroll down the beautiful tree-lined streets to numerous nearby restaurants and shops.
