8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur school could be improved in many ways. The Athletes are favored by the teachers and have rules that don't seem to apply to them. The Choir director loves the show choirs and treats the other choirs like second class citizens. There are some good teachers, but most seem uninterested and are reluctant to help students. Fighting has gotten out of hand lately, making it an unsafe environment.Student Review11y ago - Westchester Intermediate School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've had all of our children attend WIS, and it's by far our favorite school. Our kids loved the school and were appropriately challenged. They still talk about their positive experiences.Parent Review1mo ago - Chesterton Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI caught several kids vaping in the bathroom. I told a teacher and they started walking toward the bathroom. I looked back and I saw the teacher coming back towards me and the capers walking the other way. The drug use at this school is out of control.Student Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 1005 S 19th St.

"Wonderful safe old fashioned town. The type of town you can leave your car and your house unlocked , take a walk alone at night and be safe ... the down side is there isn’t much to do , and most of the business close ( even on the weekends) by 10pm "
