5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my experience this school isn’t an option for my child . I took her to this school just in the mean time she was accepted into another school, no LAUSD . And she witness students fighting and punching each other , she witness lots of bullying . Not just that but my child and my self were in a car accident and I took her to school walking due to the fact that my car was not drivable at the moment I explained the situation to this ignorant “principal” and I was told by this ignorant not well informed women that a car accident isn’t an excuse . She gave me lots of attitude of course I didn’t let myself . After all I walked away since at that moment she was just being ignorant, not just that but the day before I went in to speak to her about something very personal , thinking she would understand and take me into a room where we would speak privately, but no she said we were able to speak in person right in front of the office were there was a parent & 3 other staff witness and hearing all of our conversation this is so humiliating and disrespectful and not professional. "I live on Altura Ave and my neighbors are some of the best people I know. My neighbors older son goes to the same school as my oldest and he drives him to school. In the summer months our neighbor lets my kids use his pool to cool off."

"To hunger is a eclectic group of housing. I love how unique it is. People are friendly, they have dogs, they are commonly out walking. It is super quiet there’s lots of wildlife. He wake up to birds chirping, no helicopters, no sirens, it truly is getting out of the city. It is filled with beautiful trees and the only thing I wish we had was better roads and sidewalks. I would highly recommend Tujunga as an up-and-coming community that is near really good schools in La Crecenta that you can get your children into if you live in Tujunga.I think people try to downplay to hunger because they don’t want people finding this location. I have a lot of people that do deliveries and when they get here they say wow where is this place it’s really cool."

"Short by car less than 20 mins to and from work and from my kid’s school. Sometimes very traffic in the mornings since there is only one major freeway before the next major freeway 3 miles away. "

"There is a wonderful dog park close by. Also, several very good local vets. Many small side streets with not much traffic. Good for walking other dogs. Lots of hills. Good exercise. And petsmart is near for dog food. "

"Sunland-Tujunga is tucked away off the 210 fwy. Unless you drive the 210 fwy you may not know it exists. Used to known as “Biker Town” due to all the choppers that would ride up and down Foothill Blvd on Sunday’s. I’ve lived here all my life - that’s 51 yrs."
