6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had heard horror stories about schools in Las Vegas, before moving here from Florida, but Divich has really blown us away. Every teacher and faculty member we have encountered, have been delightful, and seem to have a real bond with the children. The school regularly hosts family nights that my daughter really enjoys, and truth be told, so do my husband and I. Literacy Knights is probably our favorite so far. Mr K is very involved and the kids all seem to love him. Mr daughter has gone from hating PE to loving it (that is what an encouraging and supportive Pe teacher will do for a kid), she also has grown to love writing, and doing projects. This is obviously as a direct result of teachers creating a fun learning environment. Homework isn't pushed, which we LOVE. Sometimes a fun project is sent home, but overall family time is encouraged of an evening. We did have an incident of a boy bullying/threatening our daughter and it was handled swiftly, and we felt heard. From what my daughter tells me bullying is not tolerated, and bullies are handled appropriately. "About 25 mins to strip, close to 2 different freeways. Also close to red rock and mount Charleston for some outdoor fun. Lots of restaurants on Durango to dine at."
