3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely love Fairview school. The teachers are incredibly caring, My kid has ADHD and the school has worked to make sure my child doesn't fall behind in academics. The teachers work off the dojo app and communicate with the parents regularly. The supplies lists make sense and aren't too extensive. Pickup/Drop off is incredibly fast and well organized. The after school program is well organized and affordable. There's a safe outdoor area/ outdoor classroom that's really cool. The PTA is always offering fun and exciting events. There's not too many fundraisers. My only complaints is there's something going on everyday, hat day, falcon day, crazy sock day, idiom day, it's a lot. Overall, and most importantly, my kid loves school, there's no bullying or fighting after school. It's really great.Parent Review4mo ago - Piner Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot a terrible school overall. Most teachers are nice, some of my classmates aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, and the food could be better. I personally dislike the ISS staff. I'd rate the bad teachers 2/5 stars and the good ones 5/5 stars they are just great.Student Review9mo ago - Sherman High School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you want your child bullied, exposed to inappropriate things from sexual comments and advances as well as suicidal threats and attempts and you are ok with the administration overlooking it then this is the school district for you. If you want a school that is more worried about the bodies in the school than really allowing the teachers the time to teach our kids then this is the school district for you. If you want a school district that is full of clicks and treats the teachers like they are trash then by all means hurry and sign your kid up for this district. In my 53 years I have never seen a district that the students allowed to do the things I witnessed nor has it ever been tolerated for one student to hit not only other students, but a teacher and to be told nothing was done was a great disappointment. This district lost a great teacher because they allowed unimaginable things to take place and turned a blind eye to it. I would not put any of my kids or grandchildren in this district and I am truly grateful my family is out of this district and will NEVER return.Parent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 1000 N Wharton St.

"I've lived in Sherman for 4 years, and before that I lived in its neighbouring town Denison for 16 years. A growing community that still looks out for each other. We wave at each other even if we don't know each other, and there is a general sense of community overall. It's a town just big enough to not be too big. "
