4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has come home just about every day with some issue with a kid touching him inappropriately. Though the school wants to do right they would fair better in training teachers to observe more, control the classroom environment better, and set a zero tolerance standard for aggressive hands on behavior. Those teachers who are vigilant have no problems. It would be great to see this standard across the board. I am shocked at how vulgar and physical the kids are at the school. Bullying is a regular issue here. Another thing that really bothers me are the computer games they allow the students to play. Many involve weapons and shooting your opponent who can be fellow classmates. With all the school shootings I believe this is irresponsible and could set the school up for trouble down the road should anything ever happen. There is no school choice since this is the only school in the county. Something to think about if choosing this county.Parent Review5y ago - D G Cooley Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the second year my son is at Cooley ( now in kindergarten) and I'm couldn't be happier with this school. I am thankful that my son has so many educators that are invested in his learning. Cooley truly cares and it shows!Parent Review6y ago - Clarke County High School

"It’s small and the best time to come here even if it’s just for a visit, it’s for the fire works and the county fair. Nothing brings the community together like the county fair"

"There really isn’t anything unique about this town. The only thing it’s that it’s small. What I would like to see one day is to see it have an actual indoor stadium"

"The town of Berryville is very friendly, clean, and safe. It's one of those towns that you feel safe not locking your doors at night. Very small town atmosphere and it's a great place for kids to grow! New HS just finished. Our kids have rated as high as #18 in the COUNTRY based on test scores!"
