"Amazingly authentic and sweet small town, just 25 minutes from downtown Hartford or the Litchfield Hills. Great community, Yoga Center, Dance classes, Music store & Clasess, brand new nightlife venue, couple of good bars...and several good restaurants...ALL walking distance in downtown Collinsville. Town designed by Sam Collins in the mid 1800's looks much the same today as then. Interesting architecture, factory buildings along the scenic Farmington River. Rails to trails, just expanded, Canoe & Kayaking, bike rentals in town. Brand new Shoppes, outdoor shopping mall 10 minutes by car, top name stores, (J.Crew, Aeropostle, Anne Taylor Loft, Sephora, Old Navy, Barnes & Noble) restaurants, salons & summer outdoor kids movie series. Great schools! Town pool, Recreation & Library great too!"
