"Everywhere you would want to go in Keokuk is within a 7 min drive. There is zero public transit but no real reason to use it. "

"I visit the area pretty often. We come here to shop for groceries and other essentials. Also, it’s almost the only place that has any restaurants, so if we want to eat out, we need to come to Keokuk."

"The main street through Keokuk is a total bottle neck of stoplights from the west end down to the Mississippi River and looks worse all the time due to shabby store fronts and empty businesses. "
