N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love the Bolivar school district. My daughter is doing so well reading above her level and my son started at the early intervention center which he went from non-verbal autism to verbal in one year. they do a great job with kiddos and really care about them.Parent Review4y ago - Bolivar High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from Bolivar after attending all 4 years. Many great programs to choose from, including introductory business, graphic design, and marketing. Technical Theatre where you can learn trade skills in wood work and setting up stages for plays, learning about theatrical history and how to make a play. AFJROTC for military discipline and building character, advanced weight training for sports and building a healthy body. Many core class selections ranging from algebra and geometry to calculus and college trigonometry. Anatomy classes, dual credit courses in English and Biology, American Government, Speech and debate, FBLA program and FCCLA, Agriculture and metal workshop. Culinary arts, and various third party programs like VOTECH, automotive workshop and OTC career center where you can attend college for four semesters and be most of the way done with an associate degree in a trade by graduation. Ultimately, best school I've attended with helpful staff, open communication and parent teacher nights.Other Review8mo ago - Bolivar Intermediate School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent! My student was exceptionally behind scholastically especially in reading comprehension. The teachers were all in with helping my student grow and succeed. I can't say enough about the teachers, staff and BIS administrators! If you want a great system for your student this is it.Parent Review5y ago - Bolivar Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and administrators at this school are top level. I had two children that are 14 years apart attend this school and even over the vast span of years between the two children attending, this school has held its high level of academics. The exceptional teachers working in a team environment and the top level administration of this school make it an outstanding school for just about any learning ability. The district should hire new administration for the Intermediate and Primary schools in this district and use the Middle Schools administration for their guidelines in finding suitable new replacements to the sorely inadequate current admin staff.Parent Review11y ago - Check out schools near S Stewart Dr.
