"We are surrounded by woodland areas, as well as two ponds and a golf course just down the street. The park is a short walk and we have two schools nearby. My children grew up here and have many fond memories of this neighborhood."

"There are sidewalks in most streets and plenty of folks walking their dogs. Most clean up after them as you should. No dog party close by. It’s a safe, quiet community with a good neighborhood feel."

"Melrose is a good place to raise children. It is a walkable, small city. It has good public schools and a wonderful public library. There is a Y with swimming and exercise programs. There are sport teams for all ages. "
