"Lots and lots of dogs in this area!!! There are Dog friendly parks but no dog friendly beaches. Not a lot of places for your dog to go the bathroom unless you walk to a grassy park area or your dog if comfortable going on the sidewalk. "

"Well this is a volleyball community so mainly Volleyball tournaments always bring people together. It is also nice when there are music festivals or holiday festivals with vendors and activities. Farmers markets are a nice addition as well"

"Hermosa Beach has been an amazing place to live. It started changing in the past two years. A lot more homeless, junkies and mentally ill are pouring in. No longer feels safe. Police does not do much about it. Manhattan Beach PD does a much better job. "
