"McLaughlin Park has leash laws but people disregard them. Unfortunately there is no enclosed dog park close to the area. People take their dogs off leash at McLaughlin. The ones who do usually don’t have control of their dogs. Otherwise those who keep their dogs on leash are great."

"I generally feel safe walking around; it can be a workout as it’s a literal hill but finally getting home and getting to rest is always rewarding. Weekends during the school year get loud because of all the college parties. "

"Area is slowly gentrifying, mainly filled with college students. Some cute restaurants and fitness studios are opening up. Definitely more secluded and residential the deeper you get into Mission Hill."

"There are potlucks and community events. Sometimes there are kids who go to the same school so they would go to water parks together with other neighborhood kids."

"I have lived in Mission Hill for over 35 years and can personally attest that the neighborhood is currently experiencing an extraordinary revival. The community at large has become more vibrant and engaging. The time to invest is now!"

"This is a great area to live in but parking is a little rough. The T is close enough to make travel to any area easy, yet far enough that it doesn't bother you. Stop N Shop at Brigham circle or Brookline, easy enough, and new Whole Foods in Jamaica Plain, not far at all. Right on the Muddy River Reserve if you like walking among trees and nature in either direction. A nice walk to Landmark Center too where you can shop at Staples, REI, Best Buy, etc. And it just a skip to Fenway Park too! Dog park not far away if you need that."
