7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNorris Elementary is an amazing school. I have 3 kids there ( 5th, 3rd, and K ), and I could not be more pleased with the staff. The teachers have gone out of their way to help my kids adjust ( they are coming from a homeschool setting). They do an awesome job at communicating, so that I know what each child is up to each day. The principal is amazing as well. She is great at her job, and truly cares for each student. They also offer after school clubs, for added socialization and experience. They have made my kids first 3 months at school beyond amazing, and I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else. I would definitely recommend this school.Parent Review2y ago - Norris Middle School

If there are kids smoking/vaping in the restroom, and your child is in there NOT associating with them, they will still be expelled for the year, no questions asked. Daily fights, kids threatening to "shoot up the school" and they get suspended for a day or two. No discipline, but that's pretty much all schools these days. "Cars drive very fast on the roads around here and there is no way that a dog would live very long if it were allowed to roam freely. I would not want to be a dog owner in this community"

"There are so many dogs and cat around where I live. Some are nice and some are mean just gotta make sure you keep dog on a leash at all times no matter what. Some also pick up after them and some don’t. "

"Grew up around here years ago. Got to be one of the best areas to live. People are friendly. Feel safe here. Convenient area. Could have a few more restaurants, but were close enough to just about anything with a short drive."

"It’s easy in a town this small. My commute is local so only a 10 min drive to my work and to any shops or restaurants. If you want better shops, the drive to Knoxville is only 25 mins away. "

"I have a child in Clinton School Systems and it is great... They make sure your child knows what they need to for your age... even have a 3 year old they are allowing to begin speech therapy so she will be caught up before entering kindergarten. Law enforcement in the area are great and really do what they need to do ensure that residents have a safe enviroment to live in... I feel this is a great place to raise my children drug use is up as it is in alot of tennessee counties but it is not as bad as some other places around here and I feel that this is still a good place for children there is not much that they can get into that they shouldn't be doing! again the schools are great and there is alot of great parks for the children!!!!!!!!!! (I highly recommend Clinton City Schools)"
