Is Lana Del Rey Building Her Empire In Hollywood Hills, CA?

It looks like this songstress beat “Summertime Sadness” by dropping $5.8 million on two new mansions.

Forget “Born to Die.” Lana Del Rey was born to buy real estate in Los Angeles, CA. The sultry songbird just dropped over $5.8 million on two back-to-back luxurious estates in the Hollywood Hills area, and the properties are so beautiful, they’ll have you popping on your “Blue Jeans” and flower crowns just like Lana.

Lana’s first new home (pictured above), purchased for $3.77 million, is a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom spread located next to Coldwater Canyon and nestled on the Studio City border. Measuring 5,432 square feet, the highly coveted property (it even won The Wall Street Journal’s Home of the Month) is majestically positioned at the top of a long driveway on a 2-acre property. Built in 1936, the modern-style dwelling is a bright and sunny space that allows fresh air to stream through. A spacious central great room features 24-foot wood ceilings with exposed crossbeams plus huge windows and glass doors that overlook the lush property. Rolling lawns, panoramas of hills, and the added convenience of a guesthouse with a pool and spa make this the ultimate home for one of Hollywood’s most recognizable voices. We Lana Del love it!

It looks as though Lana hopefully won’t have to worry about privacy when enjoying her first home’s expansive backyard: Lana’s second property, which cost a cool $2.1 million, is located right behind the first (you know celebs love buying two mansions at once). Also built in 1936, this ranch-style space is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom gem measuring 2,829 square feet. Placed on a stunning 2-acre property rife with potential, the home features hardwood floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and a cozy aesthetic, along with a smaller guesthouse. Lana’s guests will certainly love her new property thanks to amazing canyon views from the expansive decks and patios. There’s also a beautiful swimming pool, tucked inside a tree-topped nook.

Last year, Lana’s then-boyfriend, photographer Francesco Carrozzini, snapped up a stunning Beverly Hills, CA, home for $5.4 million. However, they reportedly split just a few weeks later. Don’t worry, Lana. We still know you’re “Young and Beautiful.”
