Zoe Saldana Drops $8.7 Million On A Beverly Hills Mansion

The “Avatar” actress snapped up a home that once belonged to Kimora Lee Simmons.

Zoe Saldana is the latest Hollywood star to drop a bundle of cash on a stylish home for sale in Beverly Hills, CA — specifically, within the guard-gated Hidden Valley Estates. Zoe, whose upcoming appearance in the Nina Simone biopic has caused quite a stir, dropped $8.7 million on a stunning Colonial Revival in the star-studded neighborhood. (Adele just snapped up a manse two houses down! Can you imagine the PTA meetings?) The home once belonged to fashion queen/reality TV mainstay Kimora Lee Simmons, who sold it at a loss back in 2012.

The six-bed, eight-bath home has gotten quite a makeover since Kimora lived here. The 6,332-square-foot stunner boasts a two-story entry, a designer kitchen with a spacious breakfast room, formal living and dining rooms, a downstairs family room, and a spacious master suite with a fireplace, seating area, office nook, and enormous closet with a dressing room. If Zoe’s career maintains its current speed, she’s going to need a lot of space for those red carpet duds! Two additional bedrooms are upstairs, with another bedroom suite on the third floor. The two final suites could be used as a maid’s quarters or guest spaces, since they each have a private entry. But with new twin sons for Zoe and her hubby, Marco Perego, we’re going to guess one space could be perfect for a nanny!

There’s got to be a lot of entertaining in this star-packed neighborhood, with celebrity neighbors like Jennifer Lawrence and Adele, and Zoe’s new home is the perfect spot for gatherings: The property has a sunny swimming pool, rose gardens, and a regulation championship tennis court. There’s also a library, gym, media room, outdoor barbecue with a fireplace and seating areas, and wraparound gardens.

Raised in both New York, NY, and the Dominican Republic, Zoe used to live in a 2,800-square-foot spread in the hipster enclave of Los Feliz, CA, but she sold that property back in 2013.
